At Craft Box Agency, we strive to produce high-quality custom packaging that accurately reflects your approved design. This Artwork & Design Policy outlines the requirements for submitting artwork, the proof approval process, and the responsibilities of both Craft Box Agency and our customers.
By submitting artwork or approving a design, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Artwork Submission
Customers may submit their artwork after placing an order or during the quotation process.
For the best printing results, we recommend providing artwork in one of the following formats:
- AI (Adobe Illustrator)
- PDF (Print Ready)
- EPS
- PSD (High Resolution)
- SVG (when applicable)
If your artwork is not print-ready, our design team can assist in preparing it for production.
2. Artwork Specifications
To ensure the highest print quality, artwork should meet the following guidelines:
- Minimum resolution of 300 DPI
- CMYK color mode for print accuracy
- Fonts converted to outlines or curves
- Linked images embedded
- Proper bleed and safe margins included
- Correct dimensions based on the approved dieline
Submitting files that do not meet these specifications may result in production delays or additional design charges.
3. Design Services
Craft Box Agency offers professional packaging design assistance.
Our design services may include:
- Packaging layout creation
- Logo placement
- Product label design
- Dieline preparation
- Print-ready artwork setup
- Minor artwork adjustments
The scope of design work will be agreed upon before production begins.
4. Proof Approval
Before production starts, customers will receive a digital proof for review and approval.
Customers are responsible for carefully checking:
- Spelling and grammar
- Contact information
- Dimensions
- Logo placement
- Images and graphics
- Colors
- Layout and alignment
- Product specifications
Production begins only after written approval of the final proof.
5. Customer Responsibility
By approving the artwork, the customer confirms that all information is accurate and complete.
Craft Box Agency is not responsible for errors that appear in artwork approved by the customer, including but not limited to:
- Spelling mistakes
- Grammar errors
- Incorrect phone numbers
- Incorrect addresses
- Incorrect dimensions
- Missing content
- Design placement approved by the customer
6. Copyright & Intellectual Property
Customers confirm that they own or have the legal right to use all submitted:
- Logos
- Images
- Graphics
- Trademarks
- Text
- Artwork
The customer assumes full responsibility for any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property claims arising from submitted materials.
Craft Box Agency will not knowingly reproduce copyrighted material without proper authorization.
7. Color Matching
We make every reasonable effort to reproduce colors accurately.
However, slight color variations may occur due to:
- Printing methods
- Material type
- Ink absorption
- Coatings and finishes
- Digital screen settings
- Lighting conditions
Unless specifically requested and quoted, exact Pantone (PMS) color matching is not guaranteed.
Minor color variations are considered normal within the commercial printing industry.
8. Printing Tolerances
Due to commercial printing and manufacturing processes, slight variations may occur in:
- Print position
- Die-cut alignment
- Folding
- Scoring
- Material thickness
- Box dimensions
- Color density
These variations fall within accepted industry standards and are not considered manufacturing defects.
9. File Storage
Craft Box Agency may retain artwork files and production records for future reorders.
Customers may request updates or revisions to existing artwork before a new production run.
We reserve the right to remove archived files after a reasonable retention period.
10. Confidentiality
Customer artwork, branding, and product designs are treated as confidential.
We do not share, sell, or reproduce customer artwork for third parties without permission, except where required by law or necessary to fulfill the customer’s order.
11. Artwork Revisions
Customers may request revisions before approving the final proof.
Additional revisions beyond the agreed design scope may incur extra charges and could extend production timelines.
No changes can be made after final artwork approval and the start of production.
